CUBaC trains in the University of Cambridge Sports Centre (Google Maps).
The rigorous training programme of the Main Squad includes:
On-court training 2-3 times a week on Tuesday evening, Saturday and Sunday afternoon, led by our captains or our excellent coach Daniel Bates.
Strength and conditioning training on Friday afternoon, led by a fitness instructor from the USC.
Additional optional weekday morning sessions led by our captains.
Individual fitness training is expected.
BUCS matches are held on Wednesday afternoons, with local league matches in evenings throughout the week.
Now in its third year, the Development Squad will be continuing into the 2019/20 season, aimed at high-level college players who wish to take their game to the next level with drills, games and coaching from Main Squad members, all with feather shuttles. Sessions are on Saturday mornings at the University Sports Centre.
