Cambridge University Badminton Club was founded in the early 20th century by students at the University of Cambridge. Now, it is the University's official club for competitive badminton.

 

CUBaC is a place for players to take their game to a higher level, building physical, technical and tactical abilities in a friendly and sociable club. We select our members based only on badminton ability and potential.

The Club is currently on an upward streak, with our first Varsity win in 8 years won 49-26 in March 2019. This victory was not by chance - our teams are training more than ever with the introduction of new strength & conditioning sessions, training sessions, small-group coaching and a feeder Development Squad by our dedicated committee and committees of recent years.

 

We take our social scene quite seriously, some of us even competitively. Relationships and friendships to last a lifetime are made at CUBaC, as well as lasting memories for our players to take away with them.
